Post 5: A photograph

My friend Catalina took this picture on my last vacation in Puerto Bertrand. We were four friends traveling the Carretera Austral by bike from Coyhaique.

Then after five hours of uninterrupted pedalling we arrived to Puerto Bertrand. This was amazing because the place was wonderful. We were searching for a place where to camp and then we set up our tent and were determinated to have a rest beholding the view.

After that we made lentils for lunch (as shown in the photo above) and it was really delicious. Later we take a short nap in the tent and after that we went swimming in the Baker river. The river was very cold but it was gorgeous and had a brilliant turquoise to bluish colour.

This was a very good experience for me because this was the first time that I traveled by bike and I would like to continue traveling of this form and know many beautiful places in Chile and in the World.

Post 4: My Future Plans

When I graduate from my degree in the Faculty of Arts in the University of Chile I would like to continue to study in other country any Masters related to the music. It could be a Master in Cello interpretation, a Master in Musicology, Master in orchestra conduction, among others.

This is important to me because I would like to learn more about the music and can complement my studies.

My idea is to win a scholarship to study abroad and save enough money, so I can live at least six month calmly. Then I will looking for work in anything.

Now, to  realize my project I have to speak English very well and obtain a good credit score in the TOEFL test in Chile.

I hope to fulfil my dreams and  know other countries because I love to travel and learn about different cultures.

Post 3: My favorite piece of technology

Hello everybody! Today I am going to talk about my favorite piece of technology, that is my iPhone 6. It is a mobile phone that serves multiple functions, I got it about three year ago and I use it all the time everywhere.

The iPhone is very useful for me because I can listen many kind of music, surf the internet, take pictures, have mobile applications such us spotify, language dictionaries, tuner, metronome, maps, calendar, games, calculator, among others.

In my opinion the iPhone is very necessary because I can do a lot of things in a single technological device and also is small and portable.

I think that the life without a iPhone would be terrible because it make my daily life easier.

Post 2: My expectations for this semester

Well, this semester I have to study a lot of classic repertoire because I have two exams. Firs I will have a technical exam and then I will have to play the Boccherini concert in B Flat.  I am very excited because this concert is so beautiful and really entertained.

In addition I will like to travel to Colombia on July to a youth meeting of the South America. I am very anxious about this because I think that it will be an unforgettable experience.

Furthermore, my aim for this semester is learn to play very well Soccer so I can enter the feminine soccer selection of Huechuraba commune.

I hope that it will be a great semester for me and can to achieve all my goals.

Post 1: My autobiography

Hi, my name is Katherine Bahamondes Gamboa. I was born in Santiago in 1992. I grew up in Huechuraba, in the north of the city. I went to school at Mater Dolorosa until the sixth grade, then I went to High School at María Teresa Cansino. In the 2011 I started to study Cello Interpretation in the University of Chile.

I live with my parents, the name of my mother is Leticia and the name of my father is Enrique, I have one sister, her name is Sabina. Currently my sister lives in the South of Chile in Caburgua doing musical classes. My hobbies are swimming,  climbing hills, riding a bike and playing soccer. I love nature and the sports.
